Annemiek Le Noble founder of Bonaire Basics, born in the Netherlands, living on Bonaire with her son since 2003.  

She finished her studies in Physiotherapy  in 1991.
After working several years at Sporting Schools and Fitness Centers, she was asked to start working in Rehabilitation.  

There she enjoyed five years of working and learning at the Spine & Joint Center, at the time the only center specializing in Pelvic Instability and Chronic Back issues.  Working with men and women who experienced being off balance at the base/pelvic and who could only rediscover the joys in life after a complete and major shift facilitated by disabling instability. It was especially at this place that she experienced the body, mind, spirit connection.  The realization that wellness not only hinges on physical elements; mental and spiritual elements are also determining factors.

From this point of view she started taking many courses in Spiritual & Mental Wellness: RET, NLP, reiki, astrology, as well as different experiential trainings.  At the same time she was working at the Center for Self Awareness, where she organized and facilitated many awareness seminars. However, after having traveled and finding ‘home’ on Bonaire, she has also found ‘home’ in "The Work" by Byron Katie and Marshall Rosenberg's "Non Violent Communication" (NVC).

To her these processes are wonderful grips to go to the root of feelings and behavior; the 'thought' where all suffering and joy originates.  The power of the word and the thought can help you realize ‘all is an illusion’ and the only thing that exist is love. Getting to know The Work and NVC gave her tools to be in love with Life, to stay in her own business, to reduce stress and to really connect with herself and others. And to her it is all about CONNECTION.

Besides her work as a coach and physical therapist, she stimulates, facilitates and organizes events on Awareness.  She is also working on setting up an "Empathy House" with her Life Partner and associate Simone Sweers.
